Substantial Update

I hope that I can remember everything that has been going on...it has been a busy, busy month!

Film

First of, I have just finished working on the trailer for Mirrors, a short film I worked on earlier in the year. A fantastic and great bunch of people to work with and it is worth checking out the website!

You can also check out my final rough cut of the trailer here (this is without the end credits).

I am also in the process of writing a few bits and pieces which if I get the go ahead, I will be posting up here in the new year.

Zank, Hal Weaver's short film looks like it might be on youtube in the near future...watch this space.

Absynth bank
Yes I have finally finshed creating a bank of sounds for my favourite soft synth Absynth
and they can be downloaded here NSB-Absynth Bank

It is a mixture of warped textures, soundscapes and general wierdness. I have uploaded a sample of a few of the patches....NSB Absynth Sound Bank Demo

The demo features the following patches
Simple Blip -> My Musicbox -> Lost in a Cave -> The end of my garden -> Get it out of my head -> Wipeout -> Death Beat!

Enjoy!

Positive Soundscape Project
Having been asked by loads of people what the project I am working on is all about, I think the easiest way to explain is via a link to the website, which can be found here The Positive Soundscape Project

And inparticular draw your attention to a program recently broadcast on Radio 4, featuring my supervisor, which I think sums it up perfectly. You can listen again to the program here "Costing the Earth"
(the programme is about half way down the page and labelled 'costing the earth')

Peace

Neil
